Exploring Resilience Workshop
Exploring resilience in challenging times
‘Resilience is not within us, it’s between us’ (Professor Neil Greenberg).
This practical workshop will explore what resilience means to each of us, examine the personal resources we can draw on and the practices we can develop to support ourselves and others through challenging times. It will be a highly interactive and participatory session, working in small groups as well as the larger group. We will be inviting you to share and discuss what helps you and what gets in the way for you at the moment both in maintaining your own resilience and in leading others.
The intention of the workshop is to provide a reflective and safe space to help individuals understand, reaffirm, renew and discover some of the strategies and approaches to help you and those you lead to maintain resilience in these challenging times.
The workshop will be led by a team from Practive. Practive has an 18-year track record of providing experiential leadership development to the NHS.
The Practive ethos is to support leadership development by creating a psychologically safe space for participants to link their experiences to raised awareness, theory and practice, allowing them to challenge and be challenged, take risks, and “try out” new leadership behaviours. Their aim is to run workshops that are engaging and enjoyable and also invite participants to maximise their learning by fully participating in the experience.
We have designed and delivered a wide range of interventions with Primary Care providers, Mental Health providers, Commissioners, Trusts and Integrated Care Systems and with the Leadership Academy since its inception. Alongside this, we have delivered many hundreds of hours of leadership development with individuals, teams and Boards. For more information, please visit www.practive.net.
