Organisational Development Community of Practice Meeting

Join us at our second East of England meeting on Thursday 10th November, (Event now closed)

Do you lead on change management, service development or workforce transformation? If so, you are likely to also be working in Organisation Development (OD)!

If you were able to join us earlier this year in June at our inaugural meeting our next session brings you further opportunity to network and hear more about what is happening in your systems as well at the opportunity to attend a masterclass.

As a reminder our Community of Practice is not just for those who have OD in their job title or who may be a professional HR & OD practitioner, this community is wider for all colleagues working in Care, Health and the VCSE sector to come together and share learning on how to take forward and support Organisation Development in the six Integrated Care Systems in East of England.

Come and join us at our second event and hear from our guest speakers from the Innovations Agency, Wendy Burton and Natalie Latham who will be exploring “Culture in our systems – where to begin when exploring your system readiness and its baseline culture”

We will be joined by Karen Dumain who leads the NHS Do OD network and she will be discussing how to build OD capability.

A further masterclass session on “How to develop OD Champions and Ambassadors” will be delivered by Tricordant.

In addition to our Community of Practice we continue to deliver a range of virtual bite size one hour sessions on various topics of organisation development.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development describe OD as “Organisation Development (OD) is where interventions are developed with a ‘systematic mindset’ – they create alignment with the organisations goals and activities in a planned and intentional way

Roffey Park define OD as “the work of facilitating organisational success, by aligning structural, cultural and strategic realities of work to respond to the needs of an ever-evolving business climate”.

NEWFollow up OD Action Learning Sets

Did you join us in June for the inaugural ICS OD community of practice event?  If you did and are interested in participating in an action learning set our delivery partners Tricordant have the following availability:

Proposed dates for ALS – we can accommodate 5 people per set

2-4pm 20th September – Facilitated by Andrea Barker (Event now closed)

2-4pm 10th October – Facilitated by Roger Greene (Event now closed)

2-4pm 22nd November – Facilitated by Roger Greene (Event now closed)

2-4pm 5th December – Facilitated by Tricordant (Event now closed)

The aim is that each action learning set will self-facilitate their sets following the initial session.  Ideally there needs to be a mix of participants to avoid direct report relationships and sensitivities.  All sessions will be on Zoom. A reminder this is open to all colleagues working in health and social care and wider system partner organisations.  Even if OD is not in your job title but you lead on change, transformation and development our community of practice is for you!
